SEUSSICAL

I was so very proud of this production of Seussical at Peekskill High School. Not only did we pull in a diverse group of High School Students in the principal roles, but we also had 35 Kindergarten through 8th graders in the cast. John Hahn also directed an orchestra of talented high school musicians which he then handed over to our Music Director Brian Zane. Thus, the entire community was heavily involved in this show.

It was the first time reserved seats were sold in advance. I was able to convince the school to purchase a full cyclorama (white backdrop) on which colorful light could enhance our Seussian set and make way for better lighting and projections in future productions. I designed the set and Cat Griffith led the students in its build. Costumes were a collaboration between myself and two students.  

Loads of work but lots of fun!
