With over 20 years experience in musical theatre, drama and dance, Katie has performed, directed and choreographed in Off-Off Broadway, Regional Theatre, Stock and Cabaret. She has directed from Schwartz to Shaw to Shakespeare and was selected to be a member of the prestigious Lincoln Center Directors Lab. As an instructor of dance, acting and voice, she has taught throughout the lower Hudson Valley at several performing arts studios including Dance Expression, The Pulse, Dance Center of Westchester, Garrison Union Free School, First Hebrew Nursery School and Peekskill Creative Arts Camp. As a designer, Katie has served as head designer for a feature length film, opera, period drama and musical theatre and has her own line of couture tiaras.

and dancers of all ages to unlock their creativity and imagination. She believes in balancing the discipline and challenge of the arts with the absolute
joy and satisfaction of performance.
EMBARK - PEEKSKILL
Professional Actor/Director, fellow Peekskillian, parent and friend Sol Miranda and I have teamed up to embark on a journey toward developing a small to mid-sized theatre space in Peekskill with the long term goal of creating a center for performing and literary arts coupled with an arts education facility.
A native of Puerto Rico, Sol wishes to create a Spanish Theatre Company and it is my goal to create a resident company that will offer a mix of the classics, new plays and musicals and maybe the occasional small opera!
We are fortunate to have Peekskill's MIGHTY THEATRE COMPANY on board and hope to gradually build a coallition with other local performing arts groups in need of a space.
Many talented, skilled and prominent Peekskillians from various professions and segments of the community support our project and we hope some will serve on our board of directors as the journey continues.
